Have you ever done something really nice for someone else? Has someone done such a thing for you? I want to celebrate that. I want to celebrate nice things.
I love receiving random acts of kindness. I love people who do kind things for others. I love giving out niceness. I love going out of my way to make someone smile.
This blog will include anything in these categories. Please submit stories about acts you’ve done or received (anonymously or not), things you want to do for others, ideas for random acts of kindness, tales of friendship, and anything else you can think of!
please note that this blog will be as safe a space as possible. we will fight any discrimination based on gender identity, sexuality, body type, nationality, skin colour, culture, appearance, language, age, ability, neurological type, class status or anything else. bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated. if any material on this blog is offensive to you, please message me and we will attempt to create a safer space for all.
On a theatre course you get asked to do a lot of random things; some weird and some completely wonderful. This was one of the latter.
My homework this week was 7 Random Acts of Kindness.
And No. 1 were these bad boys, compliments which I drew on some card, took to my nearest bookshop and hid between the pages of different books. In the hope that some will buy them and receive a small surprise.
